Techno (as in music) actually stands for technology, not skilled or craft.

The term "techno", which derives from "technology", is often informally applied to all forms of electronic dance music. Music journalists and fans of the genre, however, are generally more selective in their use of the term, being careful not to conflate it with related but distinct genres (i.e. house, trance), or with one of techno's many subgenres.

I have to say the same. Technology takes the place of formal instruments. However, techno is a generalized term. What most people call techno, is electronic music. There are many subgenres in electronic music, techno is just one of them

You could add technical to the list, because it does have that technical music feel to it, everything is usually so symmetric sounding.
