Christianity is an old religion based not upon religion but on old time society and culture. It is also a religion based on fear......i was raised Christian and when i was 14-15 i very quickly realized that all i needed to do was love god and be a good person and that i did not need a book (bible) that was written in times long, long ago to base me life on.
I'm gay and i love god and i love the good person he made me into.

given that christians are the biggest hypocrites ON THE PLANET, i have to laugh at this question.
sorry, but anyone else pales in comparison when compared to christians and their sins. for example:
christians want to keep gays from getting married, because the bible is anti-gay AND because they claim it harms the institution of marriage.
here is the hypocrisy:
in all of the countries where gay marriage IS legal, it has never been shown to harm the institution of marriage.
but, guess what DOES harm the institution of marriage -- and it happens to be one of the Ten Commandments, clearly an abomination.....adultery! but christians will NEVER ban known adulterers from being able to marry again, nor will they even seek to create ANY punishment for it.
Adultery actually hurts marriage, and it's clearly banned by the bible -- but christians commit it so often themselves, they want to be able to keep on doing it and never be punished for it.
christians are godddam hypocrites!! nothing more!! and all they want to do is have government sanction their hatred for gays.

Christ did sin, he beat and roughed up the vendors because they were selling offerings inside the temple in Jerusalem. He talked back to his mother when she found him in the temple talking to the old rabbis. His best girl was a prostitute.

Thanks for posting a question that does not slander our lives. The obvious answer is that WE ALL LIVE IN SIN. Think about that one for awhile.
Would you rather we intentionally hurt others and thus ourselves every day with what we think and say in judgement of them or would you rather accept we all sin and should all be forgiven.

WE ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD.
YES HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN.
BUT MY BEST FRIEND WAS STRUGGLING WITH IT AND HE'S A CHRISTIAN. HE WAS ALSO SEXUALLY ABUSED. U HAVE TO FACTOR IN THINGS SOMETIMES. SATAN CAN REALLY DECEIVE PEOPLE. ALTHOUGH MY FRIEND NEVER CLAIMED HE WASN'T SINNING HE SAID HE KNEW HE WAS. THAT IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF A CHRISTIAN WHO STILL KNOWS THE FATHERS VOICE. I WILL NOT LIE I WONDER ABOUT THOSE WHO CLAIM IT NOT TO BE A SIN HOWEVER. AGAIN SATAN IS A GREAT DECEIVER. WE HAD BEEN PRAYING FOR MY BEST FRIEND SINCE JANUARY AND HE JUST CAME TO ME LAST NIGHT AND SAID HE WANTED OUT.
U HAVE TO LOOK AT INDIVIDUAL SITUATIONS. IT IS A SIN. BUT WE ALL SIN.

Let me give you two scenerios:
One: A Gay man who loves God. A Gay man who cant explain why the bible in One instance will condemn Homosexulaty and in the next say God made all humans in his image, That GOd loves all his children and wants them to be happy, and that God makes no mistakes. He was not onloy born attracted to men and accepted thet he didnt choose this to be, but he Loves a man. He loves a man. He recognizes that God is Love and to know Love is to know God.
ON the otherside: Is a Straight Man who Goes to Church everyday. He reads the bible alittle bit but mostly listens to the Man on the podium. Taking his words to heart instad of the words of God. He starts to hate what he thinks is Bad. Instead of leaving Judgement in God Hands, which the bible he reads advises him to do. He instead Judges people and says hateful things against them, spreading Hate (satan) and Not Love (God).
Now you tell me, who seems worse?

The same way you do it by presuming to chastise others when you are told specifically that you are NOT to judge...but here you are.
When you get worshipped then you can judge the actions of the worshipers, until then you really should pay more attention to the things YOU do instead of the actions of others.
