I started wearing LIGHT makeup at 12.
You should definitely ask your parents first. If they say no, ask them if they would let you buy some and practice at home but not wear it out of the house.
If they say yes try light blush, sheer lip gloss, and subtle eyeshadow. Maybe a little concealer/loose powder if you have acne that you want to cover up. Be sure it looks NATURAL!
Always, always, always- Wash your makeup off before you go to bed at night!! Or you'll regret it when your older.
Remember that real beauty comes from the inside and radiates outward.

Use make-up that has minerals in it, like bare essentials or Bare Minerals.
These are all-natural products that are easy to use and won't make you look older than you actually are. They'll actually accentuate, or make your good features better, your skin and your bone structure.
Plus, they are not filled with a ton of chemicals that can be bad for your skin. Down side, they are a bit spendy.
Try using tinted lip gloss instead of regular lipstick. For your eyes, use a light brown eyeliner or soft brown depending on your skin tone. Maybe a little, itty-bitty bit of blush, for when you take pictures.

You don't have to wear make-up! Only if you really want to. I didn't start wearing make-up till I was in the 9th grade. It's no big deal. But now I use Cover Girl, Mabellene (sp?) or L' Oreal. Whatever isn't too expensive and looks good lol. Hope that helps.

first ask your parents if you can use it, cause sometimes they go CRAZY just for a little make-up. if they say yes then heres a few tips, one DONT wear mascara(unless its REALLY light), serious lipstick (cute lip gloss is o.k). you can wear some lightish blush, but only if you need it, and no eye liner or anything else eye-related, until you get older or it could really mess up the skin around your eyes. (when i say get older i mean 16-17).

I don't think you should wear make-up ever, but especially not at 12 years old!

well yeah you can wear make-up! I wouldn't go beyond experimenting with mascara, sheer eyeshadows, and lip-gloss until you get to high-school.
The last thing you want to be worrying about during the day is whether or not your make-up looks good.
peace.

Well, you're still young so I recommend curling your lashes with a metal curler and some lipgloss. More makeup than that will make you seem too old and fake and you'll scare all the cute boys away!
