Look for the "Line Out" green outlet on the back of your computer. This is for your audio. Make sure that you plug the speaker plug ALL the way into the socket. They are amplified speakers, so after you have them plugged in the right way, turn on the power to the speakers. Then on your computer, tic on your sound card icon and make sure that it is set up properly and run the sound tests.

The headphone socket is normally for unpowered speakers and headsets/earphones.

Look to see if you can see a separate socket (it might be marked SPK) ... and don't forget to plug them into the mains power socket.

not sure of product you mentioned but why you trying to plug them in your headphone socket? are they for the pc? if so plug them into the jack on the back of your tower that's for speakers. altenatively if you wanna set up so on your head phones then you may need to go into the options in your media player (poss in advanced options) and ensure your the headphone socket option isn't on mute? hope this helps matey
