my little sister is going to her homecoming dance soon and needs a "look". i've suggested she take a "retro" look and combine the hair, makeup, and outfit to create a really dynamic combo. i've heard the 1940's are really in right now, as well as the 1920's and the 1980's. where can i find photos of celebs sporting these looks and do you have any make-up/hair tips for nailing these looks without looking like its a costume?? thanks !!!

For the 40's stuff check out recent pics of Christina Aguilera.

For the 80's.....STAY AWAY FROM THE NEON AND THE SIDE PONY TAIL. Big hair is back, but don't over do it. NO MULLETS! *LOL*

Check out pics of Scarlett Johansen and Keira Knightley. Both of those chics have been doing the retro thing lately.

well, she long hair is in now, and not too long dresses like a little lower than ur knees, try an orange dress, and 4 manicure try orange wit black tips, like french but instead of white, black. and curl up ur hair a bit, like in vanessa hudgen's new video "come back to me". trust me, she will look gorgeous.
