And alo, can thinking about your period make it not come.

For some reason whenever I take a long hot bath it does make it start a day or two earlier. Sometimes I can even bleed heavier...dunno if this is a universal thing but it is true for me.

No,no,no.....Your period will start when it's TIME and not until then. As for making your period not come, there are brands of birth control on the market that will reduce the number of periods you have a year, but other than that the only thing that will stop your period is pregnancy.

No, water won't make it come. You can delay your period using hormonal birth control. There is something to the idea that parsley or black cohosh will make your period come but, it can also induce abortion and cause birth defects so, do what you will.

many myths are out there but you need to find what is true.
beinggirl.com has a lot of good information on periods.
getting your period has to do with inside your body. outside factors really don't make any difference.

wives tales but the water thing may have some substance to it and i know when i think about my period it doesnt come.
