I don't think all Iraquis are peaceful, however, I'm pretty positive that the latent racism abound is not helping with people's opinion of the brown-skinned ones. Don't be hating the man in the turban because he's just Hindu for X sakes. There are obvious affronts to our civil liberties as stated in the USA PATRIOT act. Also, when are secret wiretappings allowed by the 4th ammendment of the Constitution? Benjamin Franklin said it best when he said; "They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security". I do believe that freedom is not free but what else are we fighting for?

I think they used it as an attack on our civil Liberties!

Thirty-five spy agencies said in a report released yesterday that Iraq has made us more unsafe and created a whole new pool for terrorist to recruit from!

If we left Iraq alone, which had nothing to do with 9/11 or terrorist, no matter the lies Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice told us! THAT IS A FACT!!! And went after Osama we would be far better off!

Are we all going to hide now because a few thousand may be killed? I am not and I was already in 1 war! That is the price of freedom, and if you aren't willing to give yours, don't ask others to do it for you!!

Peaceful Iraqis?? Where have you been hiding?

Let me think. almost 1 MILLION Iraqi citizens are dead because of Hussein.

Unless you are a terrorist and are doing terrorist activities, then your Civil Liberties are not being bothered.

You have many rights and many privileges. Most of what the Government is doing is protecting the existence of the Government against a hostile enemy. Sometimes that enemy lies within the nation. They are monitoring the communications to the known enemy OUTSIDE of this country.
This is not a violation of your civil rights, it is the right of the government to do. Constitutionally protected right of the Government.

Who's civil liberties. Some of us are not in America. The only thing Bush should be doing is making sure the sons and daughtes of slavery are well compensated. This is justice to the maximum.

Now let's see if that civil liberty is being taken care of, then we'll know that America truly care about civil liberties or do they bary them and ask the world and the citizens not to bring it up.....sssh not in public.

Well, let's think about that. Did Iraq attack Iran, or not? Did Iraq attack Kuwait, or not? Did Iraq attack its Kurdish minority with poison gas, or not? Was Iraq in the process of developing weapons that could take out all of New York City, or not? So, what is your definition of peaceful?
