I have been working for a store 4 about 6 yrs now and I am having financial problems.I'm basically working to pay the daycare because my job won't give me any hours.Every time my son gets sick I end up having to take almost the whole week off because I have no one to watch him and I already have the weekends off because of that reason. My boyfriend could help,he works for his parents and could very easily tell them that he needs a couple certain days off to watch our son so I could have some hours but he won't.They scheduled me off all next week because of this and I'm just fed up so I put in for early retirement in hopes of leaving.so do you all think this is the right thing to do?

It took two to make that baby, you need to get the daddy to take some responsibility for his child and help you out with day care. Your child needs both parents working together.

The right thing to do is actually find someone that gives a damn about you and your son and obviously your bf does not. As far as the work situation goes I mean if you retire early you could be hurting yourself even more financially, and if you find a new job you could be hurting your child. The question is where the breaking point is going to be honestly and then things will get worse. Take this situation and try and make it play to your life situations, if you dont you are going to end up in the same mess all over again.
