1/2(1/2)=1/4
1/4(1/4+2/4)
1/4(3/4)
3/16 I hope that's right

Amber put
-(-1/2)^2(1/4--1/2)

but you had written
-a^2b-a

So I think it is
-(-1/2)^2(1/4)--1/2

Then solving:
= -(1/4)(1/4)+1/2
= -1/16+1/2
= -1/16+8/16
= 7/16
