Do you think it's much cheaper to buy makeup online rather than buying them at department stores?

I use to buy makeup online all the time. I don't know that it was cheaper but at Sephora.com and beauty.com I could find brands that I could never find at department stores around here so I could try much more makeup than ever before so I had a ball trying all kinds of makeup.
Of course buying makeup on ebay is cheaper and also fun.

Well I think it all depends how far the store is from your place. Since the gas prices are so high now. You have to think about the shipping and handling compared to how much gas you will pay to get to store to see what is worth it for you. I personally rather go to the department store since I get to try on the makeup inless I have bought the colour before then I guess I can just buy it on line. Good luck hopes this helps.

buying them on eBay is WAY cheaper. I bought a starter kit at the bare escentuals store for $60. I found the exact same set for $30 on Ebay. I also bought some really great refills for hallf the price.

If you are going to test, then go to the department store. If it is something that you have already tested, on line purchasing is great. I get great deals on line.
