Almost impossible to put tube on while ring is on finger. Several answers were to hv it sized - the point of the question was NOT to hv it sized; if I hv it sized to fit in position w/o turning, I can not get it on or off over knuckle. Open for any more suggestions, tho. Thx!

I know I'm repeating myself, but this is what we do for our customers on our jewelry shop:

Ring guards are only a temp fix, and will scratch your metal. Take you ring to a jeweler, and have them put sizing beads in the shank of your ring. That way, it will still slide over your knuckle, but not turn as much

If you size it down, it will not fit, as you have discovered. The beads are the best answer - they will allow you to slide the ring over your knuckle, and fill the gap left in your ring once it is on your finger, so that the ring does not turn anymore. But you'll have to go to a professional jeweler- sorry, but Wal-Mart does not count here. It will cost you $25-$40, but the ring won't turn anymore.
