When my son was about eleven we drove past a fortune teller's shop and he read the sign. Then he looked at me, rather puzzled and said in all innocence, "Tell your future? Well that's dumb! If you want to know the future, all you gotta do is wait."

That is a very good question. There are days that I want to know what the future holds and then there are days that I don't really care because my life has been very difficult for so long that it wouldn't make much of a difference. When things go well for our family instead of enjoying it I worry about what will come next because it always does.

i'd rather not. it's better that we take things one at a time and not to go on top of ourselves by being so nosy about the future.
