I have this Maple looking tree next to my driveway on
my property and it causing problems, well at least for
me. During and after the fall season, the leave drops
and it's all over the driveway, which is not a problem
because that's what tree does during fall and winter,
but my biggest problem is this, I don't know what kind
of tree this is but besides the leaves, there are tons
of small round shell -looking beads all over my
driveway. I spoke to my friend and he said those are
problem trees and their roots are very shallow near
the surface of the lawn. I really love having this
tree because it blocks the sun during summer and it's
hot where I live and i don't know what to do? Should I
have someone cut it down and plant something else? I
want something with big leaves, easy to clean up and
the leaves are big enough to block the sun. Please
advice!

If the tree is not diseased or showing signs of weakness then I would leave it alone. If you are really concerned you can always have a tree specialist come out and give you their opinion on it's condition. Good luck!

I own a tree service and what ya said it sounds like a silver maple. The only thing ya have wrong about it is the roots it has only a few roots that are shallow to the ground the main roots however are very deep were I live I get lots of wind and these trees are very sturdy if they are not diseased. So my opinion I would leave it.

OK, you say you really love the tree...... so where is the problem? Not much point in removing it.... which would be a lot bigger job than just cutting it down if you plan on replacing it as you would have to remove the roots as well. Then wait for the new tree to grown big enough to shlter you from the sun....
Leaves ARE leaves, they all have the raked, and bigger is not any easier than smaller.
So, if the only issue is leaves and seeds and that is a seasonal issue.... then you really don't have an issue, do you?

you'll locate that when you fence it in you eventually end up identifying to purchase shrubs and trees to soften the look of the fence. in case you opt for shrubs you'll get some that are blooming in any respect situations of the three hundred and sixty 5 days and also you could decrease the branches early and produce them in and they bloom contained in the abode, although some shrubs opt to be pruned, so in case your no longer into that this can no longer be for you. Board fencing has to have an exceedingly agency starting place, in case your posts are not any further put in incredible the fence gained't postpone. it truly is extreme priced yet nicely worth it to employ that executed professionally. Do fence sorts replace, and are the bylaws the position you stay strict on the right etc. of fences. judgements , judgements, reliable success oh by the by you should do both, like timber down the perimeters and the lower back trees and shrubs or although may be reliable on your situation.
