Perhaps Goofy was raised by apes? Then too, it could be that Pluto simply wanted to avoid lower back problems in later life. one marvels at some of the liberties taken by old Walt - check out the early clothing treatments (and lack thereof) on Minnie Mouse - shocking! Now you've got me started - I may not be able to sleep tonight for pondering such issues. And before I go, in this same apparent genre, I wonder why there was not great furor when Bugs Bunny, quite obviously a male, made such a frequent habit of kissing all the other males. And why could he be naked, but Elmer had to dress? The mind reels, or is it reals???

I have always wondered the same. Also, why does Goofy have the right to wear clothing and Pluto gets a damn collar. Goofy sleeps in a bed but yet poor Pluto has a dog house. Is Goofy REALLY a dog? .... hmmm

Goofy is unquestionably no longer a canines as many have faith. he's purely section canines. the different 0.5 that makes up his character is unquestionably goat. In an test performed by ability of the Disney Corp. to create new thrilling animals to characteristic to their "Magical Kingdom" they began mixing species of animals mutually so as that they might have something that would no longer be discovered at a widely used zoo....custom made animals! very few of those experiments survived and finally the test become abandoned for better issues like area Mountain. In rememberance of the experiments and the folly of fiddling with DNA, the character 'Goofy' become presented. His given call and seems have been in direct relation to the unique application....the seems of the hybrid animals and the goofiness of all of it.

Because Goofy is NOT a dog, he's a missing evolutionary link between dog and man - he also has a job, drives a car, and owns his own home.

I guess if Pluto could have talked, then he could have walked on two legs.
