I was driving down the road and it just stopped pulling no warning no prior problems before. Has anyone had this problem and what was the solution.

check your transmission fluid level and be sure it is full. also check the shifter linkage at the transmission to make sure it is moving when you move the shifter. sometimes the linkage breaks between the column and transmission so when it is shifted the shifter moves but not the transmission. have someone stand on the side of the vehicle carefully and with brake on shift- sometimes it helps to do this with engine off.. you should hear and possible see transmission lever being moved my shift cable . if not repair. if this is not the problem you might have internal transmission problems that need serviced by a pro. ask around to see who a reputable service center is and call them. best shop is to see a transmission specialty shop as they are often cheaper than dealers and independents

I had the same problem a few years ago with a 99 Voyageur. On the highway doing 60+mph and it all of a sudden revved to redline. Tranny gone, no warning. I hope that is'nt your problem.

Sounds like no fluid. Check your fluid level. Check your tranny filter if it's full and won't go anywhere. If it's got LOTS of crap in it, then it sounds like maybe your locking torque converter clutch came apart. Good luck.
