If a nation uses chemical warfare what should be done to it and it's leader(s) as a result?

Well most of you saw through the question - Yes the US uses chemical weapons all the time and it has horrible effects.
So my guess is that Americans are okay with chemical weapons as long as it is you who get to use them and no one else?
What will you do if the wind changes direction as it often did in WW1 when the Germans were useing mustard gas?

Are they 'always' using chemical weapons? I know they did in Viet Nam - even nerve gas. But I'm not sure 'always' is accurate. Do Americans support using chemical weapons? I doubt it. But their military leaders do use them. I'm not sure the American public is really aware of the fact. And I'm sure most Americans would express themselves as being against the use of chemical weapons.
It does make me angry to realize what was done in Viet Nam, and the callous cinical attitude of the leaders. But I think we need to make a difference betweeen the American people.and their leaders.

The most dangerous thing by far is depleted uranium (du), because not only are its effects more gruesome than other weapons, but it stays around for billions of years.
DU weapons are being used daily in Iraq.

Now that would open up a whole new Pandora's Box, wouldn't it! Hmmmm, can't say that I'd support any sort of chemical/biological warfare, but unfortunately, you have to fight fire with...well...something stronger; God forbid!
