i know the wb changed to the cw so i wanna know if its a whole different other channel or we still get the wb with our cable providors with just a different name.

WB and UPN are no more, they merged to become CW... WB was channel 11 over here and UPN was channel 9.... now Channel nine is MY 9 and 11 is CW.
CW has the "best" shows from both networks, like Everybody hates Chris and Smallville. So CW isn't too far removed from WB but it's probably much better than UPN ever was.... wouldn't really know cause I haven't taken the time to watch it.
MY 9 is now a fashion network from the shows that I've seen on the schedule.

The WB and the UPN channel combined to create the CW. All the shows that were previously on those two channels are now on the CW.

WB and UPN merged. They are one channel called the CW Network now. They are still keeping most of the hit shows from both. Do a quick search for the cw website, it should tell you the lineup if you are looking for a specific show.
