A dull ache or pain in your legs is common and normal. Typically it happens in about the second trimester, but mine started early as well. If it becomes hot, or really painful do NOT rub it. Go to the doctor, you may have a blood clot. Ways that I've helped it are motrin or any ibuprofen really, elevating my legs, and keeping off my feet as much as possible. You can get a massage from a reputable masseuse. That would help immensely. Just make sure to let them know that you're pregnant because their technique changes a bit. Good luck!

I read the other day that it is common for women to have symptoms of arthritis during pregnancy. For me it is in my right wrist!! Speaking of legs wait until you are later on in your pregnancy and get restless legs while trying to sleep!
If the pain gets really bad, talk to your doctor, they might be able to give you some thing for it.
Good Luck with everything!!

very normal and may even get worse...( sorry to tell you) Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

It is normal to have these pains through out pregnancy.

During the middle trimester you may experience leg cramps...I recommend taking a tablet of potassium everyday to prevent these.

At the end of it my legs were very painful. They were cramping up all the time...especially inthe thighs because of the pressure.

Very normal. I had them as well, and I used to know what caused it but at the moment I can't remember.

Either way, I wouldn't worry about it unless the pain was unbearable. In that case you should see a doctor.

Normal...but just to be on the safe side...when yo see your doctor on the next visit...mention it to him/her..if you still have the problem...

As I got further into my pregnancy...my fetus was laying on my syatic nerve...imagine walking down the street and your legs go completely numb...THE JOYS OF PREGNANCY?!
