i work offshore. i have a holiday booked for sunday. i am due home on thursday but the weather forecast is not good. are my employers accountable?

Acts of God are not normally covered by insurance, I think bad weather is an act of God, and I don't think you could hold your employer accountable for the rain!

You could call the travel company now and explain the situation to them ahead of time, see if they can suggest anything.

It's got nothing to do with your employer but you may be able to claim off your travel insurance - check your policy!!!

No, you order the tickets, you pay the bill even if you are unable to use them.
