I took a feminist theory class in my first semester of college.

At the end of the semester, i came to the conclusion that not all feminist believe the same thing, there are feminist that are against pornography while there are feminist that are for it. There are hetero and homosexual feminists.

There are feminists that practice abstinence or sexual repression and feminists that love to have sex.

We read an article about how some of those "rap video hoes" can call themselves feminist because in their own way they were getting ahead and reaching their goals by exploiting stupid rich men.

It really can be argumented both ways, but anyone can be a feminist if they work toward empowerment to women.

Yes. It's all up to you.
There are some people (especially women) that cannot accept that there are women, like yourself, that view sex differently then they do.
What you find empowering (based on your experiences), other women will find degrading-based on her experiences.
If, in your experience, you wish to be a feminist and a s!ut, then that is your choice.

A woman can be a p0rn actress and be a feminist. No one has a right to say otherwise. No one has a right to say that you can't be a feminist and a s!ut...they do not know what your experiences in feminism are and they do not know what your experiences in being a s!ut are either.
This is one reason that Feminism is constantly changing, redifining and fluxuating. Because women cannot be pigeon holed as ONE THING anymore. As a group, women can experience dramatically different things from one another and feminism is constantly changing as women's definition of themselves change.
Thank you for asking such a relevant question to open people's eyes and minds.

Some women who say they are feminists believe that being as promiscuous as many men have been amounts to "equality".

They may no understand genuine female sexuality, which is different than male sexuality; and as a result, they interpret all sexual behavior as "sexuality" and overlook all the other aspects of sexuality.

I believe a woman can be promiscuous and otherwise have feminist principles. Still, though, I think genuine feminism is understanding and respecting female sexuality and not borrowing traditionally male behavior in the name of being "equal". All this is is being equally promiscuous.

Oh, PLEEEEASE! This is just the kind of thinking that makes the term feminism completely useless. If you have chosen to label yourself a "sl*t", then you are letting the world know that you are already used by the system that the men set up & live by. If you think that by using men that you are either a feminist or a sl*t, then you have a lot to learn because you just THINK you are using the men (guys). Anyone who knowingly uses another person is a MANIPULATOR & a USER & really doesn't fit into the feminist or sl*t category. They fit into the LOSER role because their thinking is warped & they have become lost in a sea of MIS-INFORMATION. When any person uses another, they are only using themselves & making things worse in the long run. You might want to consider working on your unresolved issues in regards to past abuse you suffered as a child by an unknown person. Good Luck.

What is a "slút"? Does the unnecessary accent make you a French tramp, pretentious or just a poor speller?

That would depend on your perspective. If you are a "slut" because you exercise your sexual freedom to engage in this activity for your own desire/personal gain/experience, then yes. If you are a slut because you continually seek male approval/love then no because you are caught in the male hegemony of male /female domination /submission style relationship patterning.

Your kind of trying to seperate two same meaning words! Feminists promote "slutism" they are a bad influence on woman. Woman dont need politcal agenda orientated dirty whores who love immoral sex and just want to be a part of some kind of rich b*itch club. All i know is that woman that may be in trouble will not get thier help by feminists but by good men and woman. A woman wanting to be a whore and a bad influence on society especially children will get help off feminists.

The true goal of feminism was for women to be able to choose their own destiny. If you are in that position, then thank the previous generations for their hard work, and continue doing whatever the fvck you want to do.
