I live in New Jersey and currently have Verizon as my cellular service. I want to switch...I don't like it at all and it's too expensive. I've had T-Mobile before and was actually happy with it...the plan prices are great. People are telling me that Cingular is also very good. Please tell me which you like better ...T-Mobile or Cingular and why. It's important for you to explain.. because I'm going to get charged a huge cancellation fee from Verizon... but I rather pay it than get a big bill every month...I'm looking for consistency and good service. Thank you to everyone who responds :-)

Well, I don't know about NJ, but I live in MN and cingular didn't work well at all for me. I am now on Verizon and I am very satisfied with it. Check out consumer reports magazine. They had a great article comparing the major providers and showed which ones were the best for different parts of the country. Personally I would stay away from cingular, they seem to have dropped the ball after the merger with AT&T, that is when I started having trouble.

Cingular...great phone and rates. I have two Sony's for my wife and I with PTT and we use that instead of a call It's free minuets with the monthly plan,any other cingular user is also free calls.
