There are many ways to 'make love'! One of them is loving a person enough not to force them into having sex before they are ready. Intercourse is actual penetration of the vagina by the penis. That is "having sex" in the most basic way. Kissing, holding hands, comforting a person when they are scared or hurt,
helping someone with a problem or project, wanting the very best for the person one loves - that is truly "making love".
Good luck - I hope you make wise choices.

I'd say if you love the person and there are genuine feelings involved on both sides then that would not be just sex, it would qualify as more.

If the feelings involved in the act are only physical, then you've got sex. Cut and dried.

OMG yes!! Making love is when two people who actually love each other and are really, truly deeply commited to one another have sex. Having sex is when two people do it just for pleasure.

Making love is when you love that person and you are showing your affection towards them.

Having sex is when you are in lust with a person, and you could care less if you ever see them again.
