why should teenages wait to have sex?? other than STDs, or a baby??

Teenagers may not be emotionally ready. No one wants to regret the decision the made with the wrong person. What seems like love now, may not really be and also sex will not save a relationship that is not meant to be.

If you feel you are ready to be responsible about protection from stds (getting regular testing with your partner(s) so, be there when the test results are given even if your mate is a virgin and using condoms each and every time) as well as going on 'the pill' or some other form of birth control, getting regular paps and the cervical cancer vaccine and you have talked about what you would do incase of pregnancy and have the funds to at least properly supply yourself with an abortion, if it ever should happen, then there is no reason to wait.

Because of the seriousness of the consequences,some stds aren't treatable they will follow you forever just because you could not wait.A baby is a big major change in lifestyle.And because it gives you self worth,wouldn't you feel so much more special on your wedding day if you were a virgin pure and untouched.Maybe that thought isnt something you want to look forward to now, but even if you are in highschool, would you rather be known as a prude or its opposite.The decison and the conviction to follow through are eventually up to you.

i am 24yrs old i have tow kids i love them to death.why i think you should wait i had my frist baby when i was 19. i was taking up a trade i did not finsh because of that is so many things you want to do an places you want to go but you cant because you have kids. when you have kids you have to put a women or a man head on your body an take care of them no matter what .its a put back,then you can get a illes an die or live for so many years. thats your life gone down the darin.its hard when you have to do it all by yoursleft.listen to me i no my frist baby i take care by my sleft it was so hard thank god for my father an step mother.pleas wait until you find the right one an you know that youll two will take care of that child. dont let know one tell you that you cant have a baby or get STDs it will happen just one time. who knows you will be on your on . what you could do ,what if you get put out the house or he tell you it anit his own. what you ga say or he or she give you STDs. what you ga do .you have to look at all of these an think to yourslef.

Because sex is part of a marriage where there is a COMMITMENT between two people. It is not a game or a fly by night opportunity for pleasure. The fact that you could produce a baby and/or an STD should be reason enough!!

well, i think that waiting to have sex is entirely up to the people involved in this, you know?
if you're ready and you are IN LOVE, go for it. don't do it because of pressure or any other dumb reasons ! just make sure you are PROTECTED and that your partner doesn't have anything that you know of.
some religions and some people believe that sex should wait, but that is really up to you. it's your life and people really have no right to tell you how to live it.
