I only drive 17 miles. I take streets because freeway would take longer. When on business trips we get .37 cents per mile.

I drive only 22 miles one way. 110 miles that is a long hall, you are probably in your car a good 5 hours a day just getting to and from work. Better be a great paying job.

I live about 3 miles from my work. I totaled my car so now it is usually everyday I'm trying to figure out a plan to get to work. So far I have been able to get there but there is always that chance I'll get stuck. In that case I will simply hoof it because no matter what I have the responsibility of getting there.

Your not even gettin paid 50 bucks just for the travel. Sounds to me your getting screwed hope your salary is worth the long hours in the car.

I get out of bed,walk through the living room and the kitchen and into the family room and sit down here at my p.c. and work for about three hrs. a day. after that I surf the net for awhile and then hang out.

yeah, when i was working in HR in cali, it was 0.458 a mile. EACH WAY??? wow!! hope they're paying u well. my bf commutes to work....50 miles each way. he takes a combo of BART and bus, and drives about 2miles.
