how old? Fosse jazz? You can check out any kind of Fosse CD for good songs. When I was teaching I found the "Now" CDS worked really well. You could look at the earlier CDS for some ideas. Hope this helps.

diamonds are a girls best friend- really cute song!

peppermint twist I'm not sure who it's by but I danced to it once in my jazz class. It sounds older to me. And like someone else said, ANYTHING off the Chicago soundtrack would work great! all of the songs have an older beat to them and great rhythm !

DixieLand Jazz would include " JEEPERS CREEPERS " or " HOLD THAT TIGER " Maybe you mean BOSSA NOVA Jazz, like "THE GIRL FROM IMPANEMA" .
