The white guy next to me with 3 carryons and a butane lighter gets to go ahead of me and board the plane within 2-3 hours while I get to be serched like an animal. This is the case even if I show up to the airport with just my palm pilot.

Give it a rest. I fly every week, at least 100-125 times a year. I get searched alot. Since I fly with as little as 1 day notice, I get flagged for suspicious travel.
Yes, I'm white.
Don't feel like a victim, we're all in this together. Be glad you are getting searched and think of it as the price to pay for flying safer. If it offends you, charter a bus to your destination. I'm not being flippant or rude, but it is a system that has flaws, but is improving from what it was and will improve from what it is.

You should stop whinning. I know 50 year old white grandmothers who get searched every time too. But the fact is, the 9-11 highjackers were all young men of middle eastern decent. That is a fact. Neither you nor I can change that.
Instead of complaining and acting like a victim, you should be thankful that the plane you get on is being checked out, because the guy behind you that they check out, may not be as harmless as you.

Here's a hint. The US is in war time and our government is trying to do everything possible to keep the citizens safe and the airlines safe. This has been going on for 5 years now and security will only get tighter. I've been delayed at the airport many times but it doesn't bother me because I know it's for my own safety. In this day and age you just have to get to the airport earlier to get through all the check points. I'd rather be delayed and safe than to zip through and end up on a highjacked or bombed airplane.

today the US gov dropped its ban on liquids.
if they didnt bounce back and forth there would be no problem.
