I read the paper again today & in a small column in the back is another grim story of some women stabbing the mother, cutting the fetus from her womb & then killing her 3 other children ages 6,2,and 1 7 stuffing their little dead bodies in the washer & dryer all because the killer told her boyfriend she was pregnent & needed to come up with a baby to cover her lie??? Why isn't the public more outraged, why the hell don't we sentence them to death...no questions asked...you killed a child, now you will die. Does anyone not horribly fear for their own children??

Talk to all of the liberal lawyers out there that are willing to take on a case such as this and defend this animal. I think anyone who commits any crime to a child, minimum, should serve a life in prison without parole. This animal should be sentenced to death. No trial needed. Whoever did this is not a human being. Human beings do not act this way. This animal should be shot in the head. The worst part is the trial will take months to conclude, and cost tax payers thousands of dollars. Our legal system is to blame.

It isn't so much that child murderers are "tolerated" Unfortunately though, although I hate to say it, these children were Black. And all parties being Black, meaning the mother, her children and their killer, means an eensy bit less than being white in a case like this. It's sad, but very true, although most would not want to admit it. The killer will probably do life.I doubt she'll get the death penalty although one never know. She'll probably be assigned a public defender, who won't have the time nor resources to do the background work and get the experts that would be needed in case this woman wanted to plead "temporary insanity," In fact its rather unlikely that the judge would order a psychiatric evaluation.
In the interim, after a few more days, the story will die. When her case comes to trial, it'll get mediocre coverage, until she 's sentenced,
Its sad when any child is murdered. But the 'outrage' is oftentimes limited when the victim or as in this case, the victims are Black.

I think that the insanity defense is used too often. That woman isn't insane nor was she temporarily insane. She knew exactly what she was doing. She knew the woman that she killed and it is reported that she had even babysat for the woman before. She knew exactly what she was doing when she cut her open to remove her baby and she knew what she was doing when she drowned 3 innocent children and put there bodies into the washer and dryer. I also don't think that there should be a trial considering the fact that she admitted to the crime and told police where to find the bodies. Why waste the time and money for the trial of someone who is CLEARLY guilty. She along with all the others who have murder or raped children should receive the same fate as their victims.

I feel the same as you and posted a couple of questions earlier and got blasted for not being patient with the criminal justice system. The criminal acts this girl committed are appalling, and she should be put to death, but this good old country has a thing about the death penalty. I am eye for an eye, but too many Americans are not supportive of the death penalty. She won't last 1 day in prison. The population will have her killed within 24 hrs. Our morals in this country have declined to such an extent that fear of the death penalty is not a deterent to anyone, for anything.

1. Because this is America: land of the apathetic and fat.

2. It's illegal in most states, but if you paid any attention to the story you would know it could be punishable by the death sentence and she's going to probably end up dead before her jail sentence is over anyway. People in prison don't take kindly to people that kill children, given the fact that many of them have some themselves.

3. If I had a child, I most certainly would not.

did you hear that this broad is in her OWN personal cell??? i think that she should be in the same damn place as all the other murderers. she should have to defend herself when everyone realizes that she is a baby killer, and they will (trust me) have so much rage against her for what she did... i think that it is bull that someone that kills children can fall back on a claim that they were insane..B.S., she knew exactly what she was doing when she knocked out her friend & cut her fetus out of her belly, then drowned her 3 kids & stuffed them in a washer & dryer, THEN tried to pass the fetus off as her own, & have a funeral for "her" fetus!!! she knew EXACTLY what she was doing... she is not insane, she deservs to have the most intense/ horrible/ long sentance that is possible... i hope that she frys, what she did is horrible... sorry i kind of got off of the topic of your exact question but i am sooo horrified by what happened...

I think long ago the U.S should have made murdering a child or molesting and raping a child an automatice death penalty. And those that supply children with illegal drugs also. We as a nation have tolerated this hideous disease for way to long. Hopefully legislation will change that someday.

Nobody tolerates child murderers!!!
The public is outraged.
This story hasn't made Australian news, but yes i have read it and heard it from American news sources.

She most likely may get the death penalty from this,
She is not going to get away with it, But you can't state that we " tolertate" them, This woman has not even stood trial yet, I am sure she will pleed she was mentally unstable aswell.
Don't imply people do tolerate people who kill innocent children. Because they don't.

i don't believe of convicted murderers truly get out. till it changed into by some ability unintentional. like vehicle crashes and such issues as that. you do not by probability molest a baby. "oops! my penis merely fell into the bare 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous's vagina!" or "oh no! I by probability took bare images of this scared 6 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous!" does no longer decrease it. yet "uh oh. I merely crashed into that different vehicle and killed 3 human beings" does. murders that were theory out and on objective oftentimes finally end up with the assassin in reformatory continually or they are positioned to demise. if I ran over a jaywalker or crashed into yet another vehicle that is not any longer the same as if I walked as a lot as someone and shot them contained in the face. yet having sex with a baby, touching a baby inappropriately, or taking bare images of a teen can not be an twist of destiny.

so... if you killed this woman, would that bring the dead children back? if you killed this woman, would justice have been served or revenge? if you killed this woman, would the family of the dead children be less sad or would another life have been lost for nothing? if you killed this woman, would she have to live with her guilt and be tormented by it every single day for the rest of here life, or would it be an easy way out for her? not to mention that someone who commits such a heinous act of violence is probably insane anyway and so couldn't be punished for her deed in any civilised. democratic society. the death penalty does not create justice, it does not help the victims, it does not make the perpetrator face up to their crime. all it does is reduce society to the same level as the murderer. and - doesn't the bible say "thou shalt not kill"? that applies as much for the people of a state as for the state itself.
