A Potbelly's sandwich restaurant is going up near my house and I wonder what the chain is like, and how their food tastes. What's your favorite? What don't you like? How's the service? Are they a good company to work for?

Thanks for the comparisons to Subway... Does anyone have an opinion on how do they compare to Quizno's?

I've been to Potbelly's quite a few times... it's a sub sandwich place and the quality is much better than Subway. The sandwiches are a little smaller than you'd expect, but the bread is soft, chewy, and excellent. I also get the Italian everytime.... the service is usually young and inexperienced (it's a sandwich shop), but usually energetic and adequate for food service. As for working for them, I have no idea, but it seems like a casual, laid-back environment.... I guess you'd have to like making sandwiches or running the cash register. Probably a better choice than Subway though (if you haven't guessed, I hate Subway)

Their Sandwich's are so good they have different types of sandwich's and they all are good. And Very affordable no Sandwich is over five dollars and there are bags of chips and also drinks that you can buy if you want . Also they got Ice cream, Cookies, and much more. There employees are so nice they treat you with respect and they treat you not like a customer but a friend. At the Potbelly at Down town Silver, Spring MD where i go at they some times have performers.
And Since People eat there all the time the employees get paid a reasonable price. There is nothing i don't like about Potbelly , my Favorite Sandwich is the Salome BLT. Oh yeah there are many toppings of your choice.
And u can call them to make your order and u can pick it up when its ready.

I've never worked there, but I eat at Potbelly's about once or twice a week. They have good sandwiches, great cookies, and they are reasonably priced. Italian is my favorite.

Never worked there. But the food is great. They have great sandwiches and soups and they even had a guy up in the rafters playing a banjo live at lunchtime for entertainment!!
