There are ten cranial nerves...which one are you talking about? In any case, the only method that EVER has worked at all is microsurgery...where the sheath of the nerve that has been interrupted is sewn together....and sometimes the nerve has been known to regenerate using this procedure...but not always.

they never regenerate.
