You may have ice or frost built up around the self defrost fan in the freezer. This will sometimes cause weird noises. It may be an indication of problems with the self-defrost coils. But for now, you can take a hair dryer and blow it back in the rear of the freezer compartment where you see the slots or see the fan turning. It will work best if the cycle is such that the fan is not blowing. Have also done this when my ice-maker has stopped producing. Good luck.

For an educated guess I would say that something is hitting the condenser fan blade like a piece of paper. Take the rear cover off and check around the fan blade. The noise may stop as you are moving the unit front but it should still be checked to ensure that the fan does not get stopped by the object and now is a good time to clean the fan and coil area front and rear.

The noise could also be coming from the freezer fan but is less likely and you would have probably realized the source already.

It might mean there is dust in the ventilator at the back ..
Check it and see if you can vacuum the area...It should help (unplug it first!!).
Once you've vacuumed around the motor, try and oil the ventilator fan axis......
If this doesn't work you may need a technician!
Don't wait too long to do it...if it stops, you may have a defrosted freezer, and food to throw out, and that would be a shame

Check your fan blade, and if you have an automatic ice maker make sure nothing is hitting the lever that moves up and down. Other than that call someone.

I don't know how to fix it just get a repairman and be sure that you are careful when you open it so that you don't start up a wind storm! Take cover!

I would pull it out from the wall and check for obstruction around the fan.
