Would it be better just to hire a wife- you know, give her a salary and bonuses for performing certain duties very well- but not really marry her- then if it doesn't work out, I can just fire her without the hassle of divorce.

Ummm...yeah....one of the most retarded things I've ever heard. Isn't that illegal anyways?? To hire someone to cook and clean for you...like a housekeeper ok...but once you add "relations" to that, I would think that be illegal.
Find a lawyer first to work out all the legalities behind it...then GOOD FREAKIN' LUCK tryin' to find some chic dumb enough to fall into your scheme.

wow that sounds sick your wife should be someone you want to share your life with not a disposable rag you use and when it gets dirty you through it away. it sounds more like prostituting than marriage and is degrading and sick
