It is not lame..to sell it. It is a vintage 10K 1967 Big Ten conference co-championship ring. Given to my father for his contribution on the field that year. They were the last Minnesota team to go undeafeted at home. Selling it at 10K would be a great deal, right?

I would use a sports auction company. There are many reputable ones. I just looked at one. They currently have a Stanley Cup Ring being auctioned. As of 6pm (PDT) the high bid is a bit above $30,000.00. Look at their site, and others as well.

Yeah it is a good deal...

HOWEVER, you can never replace an heirloom like that...The pricetag on a ring like that, particularlly for a family member of someone who earned it, should be priceless.

I'll give you $1.83 and a pack of bubble gum.

You won't get 10K for it, even from a die hard fan.
