The third recih was destroyed by the successful Allied invasion of Europe in 1944 and 1945.
As for the effects of WWII, of course they still affect us. The creation of the EU, the empowering of the UN, Independance for colonial nations, current systems of alliance, the creation of the US as a superpower. The loss of superpower status for Britain. The rise of China and India as political and economic forces. The USSR legacy, and ongoing social and political differences for NATO and former Warsaw Pact states etc. Technological advances as a result of military technology developed during the war - computers, highways, aviation advances such as jet engines, radar, guided weapon systems, nuclear power and weapons, etc Just some of many effects....

Formulate the question better, and break your cover.

If you mean 'Did the Third Reich have any notable achievements?' then overall the answer should probably be No. I'm not convinced that the mass murder of several million people is morally outweighed by the invention of the Volkswagen, the motorway and the guided missile. It boasted that it would last a thousand years; in fact it lasted from 1933 to 1945. Pretty much a major failure on its own terms, then. Most of its leadership either committed suicide or were prosecuted for crimes against humanity. I would doubt the motives of anyone who disagreed with the verdicts brought down on them.

So I don't think that the Third Reich's teachings have anything valuable to offer us. However, that doesn't mean that we can't learn a lot from studying it, or that it's not a fascinating subject in itself. As an example of how humans can go terribly wrong, it's just about the best there is.

This a slight strange question about causality in sense any historical event effect the world even if only indirectly in that would cause different sorts of people to be born to die to come to power and so effects the human gene pool(i.e mummy and dad would not have meet or done it quite at time) if attlia the hun had not been defeat at the battle chalon in 451 this would massvie changed in gene pool europe and so would have meant we would all a very different sorts of people so in sense attlia still has his say as do any number of minor historical figures.
However in more particular sense third reich example to mostly negative anything touched its idea was discreadited including facism, eurgenic, enthanasia, anti semtism and extent realism in art and so on. Of course the regime fall lead to much conditions of cold war and some of modern world include such things the bretton wood agreement (about currency ) which lasted until the 1970 the division if europe to east and west and division of europe until about 1989.It also set up things that have lasted to this day like the UN the world bank the IMF so yeah it had its say if most negative one especially on unforunte people surnames like goering and hilter .

Several things considered taboo! Without support one neither other side of the history. Just questions/answers about it.

1. What were natural conditions that bring Hitler to power (or somebody else) and how a poor Germany would be able to Rise and Conquer almost entire Europe?

2. What would happen if Europe just say NO!! to Germans when the did first invasion? (Polish) What are direct consequences from this kind of thinking?

3. Why German industrial were more efficient than Allies? How Germans come from devastated country and less than 30 years developed impressive pool of scientists?

4. Scientists says that dogs have huge amount of genetic difference in past 300 years (20%?) than would be expectable following just nature(random mutations). All due human intervention.

We have huge and tiny dogs, smart and others not so smart. We can talk same about cows and other kind of animals.

What would happen if we just do same selection and wait same period in human ages...(2400 years) ? Would world have better fit/smart/skilled group of humans?

5. Why world just ignore other groups (Jeova's, Gipsy, Gays, etc.) killed within their camps?

6. Condemn everything just do things worst? It creates marginalized groups? Instead to divulgate hate, try to show mercy and talk about history without emotions would not cut by the root new Nazi? Hebrews were persecuted several times within history. since Ramses, Venice, Spain, Othoman empire ...Many were killed and there is no hate, once history manage it as a history. Rebuild: How keep hate down?

Look at the Middle East. But for the Third Reich there would never have been a state of Israel.

It helped forge the United Nations.....for better or worse. However, the greatest benefactors were the Jews who had a good excuse to create a homeland after the war ended.

In Germany, there are monuments and memorials dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust, but all existence of any Nazi party structures remain hidden. The German government would prefer to erase that aspect of their history.

The 3rd Reich had its say, which as you point out has influenced our lives today.

But it no longer exists, so it no longer has a say.
