I'm not a rap fan, much more of a punk rock fan but listen too almost everything so i can be well rounded and not narrow minded. Anyway to answer your question, I like more of the hip hop from when it started out , but artist from today make Hip Hop sound like its a Hip Hop hokey poky, But my favorite hip hop artist is Jayz, and from the 90's is Tupac, and the fugees.

Emeinem's lyrics are so real! He's not afraid to let people know just how he really feels about anything, wether it's about his mom, his daughter, Kim, the rap industry. He just doesn't care what people think of him, because he is whatever you say he is.
