You are saying that your father throws you into an ice cold shower when you fail a test???

Maybe your father should sit down with you and find out WHY you are having trouble passing the test. Maybe you dont understand the materal? Maybe you get nervous when you take tests?

He should try and help you! What does throwing you into a cold shower do except make you cold and wet??

I don't have a father. Even if I did, it would be extremely hard to fail a test, especially those state issued tests.

I had exactly one test in my life that I got a C on. I was grounded for 6 weeks.

I made sure I got As on everything else.

well.....when my son gets a bad grade,no video games for a week. I bet my son would rather a cold shower than no video games at all...

If you're a minor (under 18 years old) and your dad is doing this to you then you should tell your school counselor. This may be considered abuse.

Hmmm... sounds like it could be abusive maybe. You should talk to your teacher about what happened.
