Does anyone else think he sounded better in the band Soundgarden?

I totally agree! Soundgarden rocked! I actually did enjoy Audioslave's first CD. The one with 'Cochise', 'Show Me How To Live', 'Like a Stone', and 'I Am the Highway'. But, they've definitely gone downhill since!

The band will continually go down hill from here. Ever since Rage Against the Machine broke up it has been getting worse. Audioslaves first album was only descent, in my opinion, because it echoed the same style music that made Rage amazing. The new singer and same music makes for pop hits but Rage's artistic flow and ferocity won't be duplicated. I think this was discovered after the first album so they are trying to reinvent themselves. But without Zach de la Rocha it can't be the same. All artists involved were better off before the merger.

What the F**k is wrong with your ears, the new album is great, Chris Cornell has finally got rid of that damned lisp, how can you dis anything with Tom Morello on guitar, you should try playing it, it's rock hard.
If you put 'audioslave', 'out of exile' and 'revelations' on random, you'll have a hard time telling what's from what album.
You all need help, try syringing your ears
Chris did sound damn good in soundgarden though, but think about it, that much drink, drugs, smoking and screeching your lungs out is gonna take its tole on your larynx, he still has one of the best voices in rock.

When Audioslave first released their first album, they were awesome. They have died down and are not nearly as good as they used to be.
