I had a triple hernia repaired 6 years ago and had no problems. Go back to the doctor or get another opinion.

You dont really ask a question but I can offer you this:

my dad had a hernia surgery and they had a hard time w/ the facia healing . The facia as I understand it is the part of us that holds our internal organs inside and keeps them from moving around. My dads facia was in bad shape and they couldn' t sew it together neatly. they had to go in 3X. Finally they put in the mesh (sewed to both sides) The dr told us since the mesh is foreign to the body, there is a high chance of infection (resulting in another operation).

Hope this helps Good luck!
