I'm a regular on a certain large forum, and have recently ex-communicated with a set of people who I no longer want to know. I don't want to talk to them, trade with them, or have anything to do with them.
They think I'm someone I'm not. Literally.
I stopped replying to their private messages, blocked them from all my messengers and removed their names; but they (one in particular) can't seem to take the hint, and now persist in stalking my posts and trying to talk to me.
I know it's cruel, but I've been through the "My name's not Sally as I've been telling you these past five years" routine before, I don't want to do it again, so I just broke off contact.
How do I stop them stalking me?!

On most forums you can block people aswel try going into your preferences and see if there's an option for it, if it doesnt have that then you'd be best off making a new account.

1). Leave the forum and never go back OR
2). Create a new ID and completely change your style of posting... those who know you will recognise your style of typing; punctuation; grammar and habitual spelling mistakes
3). Do not tell anyone, as SOMEONE will ALWAYS blab !

get a hobby that doesn't involve the computer. the weather is lovely this time of year. enjoy it while it lasts. learn to play a musical instrument. take up painting. learn to knit. just don't stay on the computer so much.

Can you change your ID in your chatroom? Just start from scratch as a new person and only tell those you want to who you really are?
