You really should talk that over with your spouse. I personally would be upset if the name of my child was chosen without my input. Also, a name should be personal and mean something to you. Not something that you just pull out of a hat or have suggested to you by strangers.

Anyway, It depends, are you religious? you could choose a Jewish name or Christian name from the Bible.
Personnally I like "Obadiah" Patrick. it covers both testaments.
or Rachael Leah for a girl.

Do you have a relative that you are particularlly fond of.
You could name the child after them and there are masculine and feminine forms for most names.
(My sister named my nephew after me.)

How about a name that was used by a movie star you admire.
Brad, Tom, Ben, Melissa, Kaytlyn etc.
(When i was younger i admired Rory Calhoun, Audy Murphy, Katherine Hepburn, and Lorretta Young).

Or you could get wild and environmental.
Skye, Autumn, Summer, Moon, etc.

And Last but not least, you could name them after a character in a movie or song. like "OH" Donna, Marie etc i'm sure you could think of one.
My user name comes from a Carol King song (Smackwaterjack)

I think Marla is a beautiful name. Not only is it different but it is easy to learn and pronounce. Lol....yes it is my name......but, don't name a boy that. Your other children have lovely names. I'm sure what ever you chose will be perfect. Good luck with your new baby.

Go with something different. There's a site called: babynames.com. You can find thousands of names there. You can even search for names by their meanings. They also have a lot of links to other baby name sites.
