I`m going to the reception of a wedding on saturday and as usual have left it to the last minute to get something to wear,i was just wondering if you have any advice on what top to wear with black trousers,i dont like anything strapless so a bustier is out,help??

Well black or white or red seem very in at the moment so try hunting round the shops like Topshop and New Look etc. Jazz up any outfit with great jewellery from places like Accessorise or Claire's accessories they have some great stuff in!

Black trousers are like a blank canvas. Almost any color will go with it (personally, I don't like dark blue or brown with black).
It's hard to tell what style you like or if you're near any kind of stores. I would think that you want something tasteful and appropriate for the wedding. Black and white is always a safe combination. You can wear a plain top and use jewelry to dress it up. Glittery make-up is good, along with sparkly earrings.
I would advise not to wear big earrings and lots of chains/necklaces. If you have hair that is long enough for a pretty barrette, try one of those.
No matter what you wear, I bet you'll be gorgeous.

A white blazer with a colored undershirt will look nice...But maybe black trousers aren't the thing to wear to a wedding?

I would wear a nice Black top, with a big Glam belt, just to jazz it up, but yet not to over the top, wear nice accesorise meaning necklace, bangles to match. Have a great day.

if you have blond hair = purple color flowy like blouse;
black/brown hair=red/pink/orange color halter top with a cute blazer or pixie blouse;
red hair=blue/green poncho like shirt. since you dont feel comfortable in a strapless shirt you can always get an over-blouse or sweater. need more advise email me @ lizzert0895@aol.com. hope my advice helps ; )

a pastel colour baby doll top always looks nice expecially if you wear some girly sandals with the outfit
