When did Nostradomos predict the end of the world?

Well, back in 1996 some people were in panic mode because they thought some Nostradamus prediction had pegged that year as the end of the World. No doubt there have been other years that people thought would be THE year, from a Nostradamus prediction.

Try reading Nostradamus sometimes. It's page after page of cryptic predictions. With that many predictions, a few are bound to turn out correct, especially if the predictions are worded vaguely enough to be interpreted in different ways. That's called "filling the air with buckshot".
