Kate & Leopold
It came out in 2001. It is so good, and when I miss my hubby I always watch it. Here's a lil' bit about it.
Kate and her actor brother live in N.Y. in the 21st Century. Her ex-boy friend, Stuart, lives above her apartment and finds this space near the Brooklyn Bridge where there is a gap in time. He goes back to the eighteen hundreds and takes pictures of the place. Leopold, a man living in the 1870's, was puzzled by Stuart's tiny camera and decides to follow him and they both ended up in this century. Leopold is clueless about his new surroundings. He gets help and insights from Charlie who thinks that Leopold is an actor who is always in character. Leopold is a highly intelligent man and tries his best to learn and even improve the modern conveniences that he encounters. Kate falls for him and he has to return to his century, and leave her behind. She has a choice, she can go after him and leave her family forever and live in his time or stay behind and grieve.
It's a wonderful movie.

You could always watch "The Titanic" over again -even if you've seen it. It's worth it to see it again. Here are a list of movies that I've liked: The Notebook, Ghost, One Fle Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Jaws, Dirty Dancing,
These are just a few - but if u go to the video store & read the back of some of the movies & u can even ask the person who works there if they know if it is a good movie or not. Sometimes they can be helpful. They hear what other people think about the movie too.

Good movies ...mmmm . Depends on your mood and you say your feeling lonely right now. Well my diagnoses is that you will be better by tomorrow and you wont feel lonely any more, But just for the sake of your question get a Friend or your boyfriend and watch a dorky,funny movie with your Friend like " Bubble Boy" , "Theres something about Mary", " Me Myself and Irene" , or for movies with your boyfriend, you can watch funny romantic comedy movies, Comedy, Horror. That stuff would cheer you up. If that doesn't work than I think you should get some help, you shouldn't be that lonely. Happy Holidays!!
