So I have this friend at school that I recently met. He is so nice and we have so many things in common. We love spending time in the library at college and his stalker is a girl in his class. She always gives him these flirty looks ( which are uncomfortable to him and I) He doesn't know how else to tell her he doesn't like her without hurting her. ( cause he's such a nice guy) But she's really hard headed and doesn't understand. What can I do to help him and how can he get rid of her????

Um... he's not such a nice guy... he either loves the attention from her, or is a total wimp. A guy should be able to say "I'm not interested so stop bothering me" to a person. Playing the "nice guy" card is a lie.
You can't help him- he has to grow a spine and do it himself-- IF he really wants to be done with her. Stop blaming the girl- it's HE who is letting it happen.

If she is that dead set into wanting him she will most likely continue the flirting and childish behavior until she finds some other guy to do it to or she gets tired of trying with him. It may be a while though because I had a girl do the same thing to me that didnt stop until I started being a little harsh toward her. He just better ignore her and not give ANY inclination that he is interested or it will never end. Any chance he gets whether it be her telling him or writing him that she likes him, he can say something like he's gay, or he's dating you.

He will have to be the one to tell her (in front of you and the rest of the world) that he is not in any way shape or fashion attracted to her and would prefer that she leave him alone. If he's too 'nice' to do this- then he likes the attention and is somehow giving her the impression that it is welcome from her.

Stay out of it, and let him handle it. We don't need another cat fight!
I sounds more like a case of infatuation, than one of stalking, anyway.

Explain it to her as if she were a four year old. If that dont work, restraining order.

he's got to come out and say it, "Look, I'm not interested in you. I'm flattered but your not my type, I'm sorry." he has to nip this thing in the butt or it could get really ugly.
