need help, performance on MAME?

Question

need help, performance on MAME
is horrible and it starts to slow down,
what are the lowest, fastest and best settings
should I use. I try to play it and it runs ok
for like 30 sec and than it starts to slow down,
please, I need video, audio and etc. etc..
setting so I maybe able to play both on singel
and on Netplay.

oh yeah, Winkawaks is what I use most and still
do but everyone now uses MAME 32k .064
which I have and I can play but it slows down.
This is why I need the help.

Your the first person I have ever came across that uses Winkawaks. I had no Idea what it was nor who good it is. But I have looked it up and see that it is an frount end for MAME. This is likely or could be the form of slow down your are speeking of. The more you have running the slower the things will run. It also depends on the Version of MAME you are running. .108u is the latest.
