i think they place money as their # i issue not their children. they might think that they doing the right thing by provoding them with their needs but they are not. they are missing the good times with their children and will never understand their children becasue they are never there for them . to me it is runing away from your responsiblity

i think it's horrible. and i'm actually in that position right now where one of my parents spends very little time with me. it's my father and i see him a total of at the most, 1 hr a day. and we live in the SAME house. he's always busy with work and with meetings, he works tooo much and one of these days it's all gonna catch up to him and god forbid he have a stress attack or a heart attack or something.
i promised myself that i would never do this with my children. i will spend every single waking moment with my children. i don't want them to have parents who spend very little time with them. i will always put my kids and my family first..they are my # 1 priority.

not much....down the road in life they will regret that they don't know their kids. Also doing this puts the kids at risk for all kinds of problems. It also teaches the kids that money is more important then caring and love

Their priorities are messed up!
Children need their parents to guide them, love them and show them how to survive in this messed up world.
