There aren't THAT many people that are convinced it didn't happen. There are only a handfull of people that promote the idea that it was all a hoax and offer their own original evidence as proof.
All of those many others who, now claim to believe in the hoax are merely the ones who have read the early postulators and their pamphlets, who then in turn, write thier OWN books and blogs, based on the work done by that origianal handfull.
I'll bet there isn't a SINGLE ONE of us, in Yahoo Answers who has done even one bit of original research. I will bet each and every one who has EVER posted a rant on Yahoo Answers about the flapping flag, the coke bottle in the photo, about the shadows that don't line up or the light coming from the wrong direction, got his/her information from someone else's book or some website that got their info from someone else's book.
Sorry guys. I find it easier to understand the logic and sciece behind the explanations to the so-called anomolies than it is for me to accept a multi-billion dollar hoax that somehow neglected to move a Coke bottle out of the way of a camera shoot.
Anybody remember that photo that came out immediatly after the 9/11 crashes? The one that shows a teenage doofus, posing at the top of a building while a plane appears to be heading right toward him? There were hundreds, probably thousands of emails exchanged and websites posting notes from people who claimed to know the guy, or know someone who knew that guy, etc. etc.
There was lots of evidence to show that the picture was faked (wrong location, wrong plane, wrong angle) but people chose to believe what they wanted.
We are witness to a similar phenomenon.
I have Photoshop and I know how to use it. I can put a can of Coke in bin Laden's left hand while he brandishes an AK 47. I could even make it funnier by making it an Israeli UZI instead. Imagine the rumors flying around the Middle East if I published THAT picture?

Yes on July 24, 1969. It was 1961. John F. Kennedy was the President of the U.S. He wanted to put a man on the Moon. The U.S. had just started trying to put people in space. The Apollo 13 went into space July 24, 1969. Neil Armstrong became the first man to step on the Moon. Well there's some info.

12 men set foot on the moon. It took over 400,000 technicians, NASA scientists, subcontractors that made all the parts to the moon module and assorted government workers to get the men to the moon.
If one believes that the US govt is competent enough to pull off the biggest scam in history, when they couldn't even cover up Watergate or Gulf of Tonkin incident, (which by the way, only a handful of people knew about it), then i guess there's no convincing you. Your faith in a competent govt. is astounding.
Let's hope that a Katrina type catastrophe doesn't hit your neighborhood and you find out the hard was how competent they are in coming to your aid.

Yes. Anyone telling you otherwise is lying. Anyone asking "well then how come..." questions is ignorant of science.
The basic question you need to ask yourself is this: How could so many people keep such a secret for so long?
Remember, there were 1000's and 1000's of people involved.

Of course -- Congress gave NASA billions of dollars to make a phoney movie. Thousands of aerospace workers only pretended to make rockets and space capsules -- they were really made out of styrofoam. And all the people who watched the launches at Cape Canaveral were suffering from mass hysteria.

IN 1969 it was real. I grew up durning the early spaceflights. We have come too far to say it was all Hollywood. Too many people with telescopes watching. Why do people doubt about the greatest human venture of all time

This question has been asked so many times, normally I go into detail about how it was staged, but I don't feel like doing it now....Just know that it was a setup, and theres many key details that proove it, for instance in the movie the flag is waving....but there is no gravity in space, anyway I'll let someone else have this one.

Okay, just for fun, assume that it was faked.
Does anyone out there really believe that we haven't been to the moon since then?
And what difference would it really make?
