Whether in men or women, the American culture seems to want to pretend that people are not hairy. In other words, the "standard" of attractiveness is to remove body hair.
Another reason they might make fun of you, especially if you are among teenagers, is that:
1) Teenagers are in the growing process of socialization and force the "pecking order" by making fun of and pressuring other kids who don't measure up to their so called "standards".
2) Teenagers often aren't yet wise enough by the aging process to accept people who are "different"
I had a friend who had moved from Germany when I was in high school. The other teenagers made fun of her because she didn't shave under her arms. They lost out on knowing her and finding out that she was a literal musical genius who could play classical pieces like a maestro without ever having taken a lesson in her life. Too bad for them. (In fact, I'm still trying to reconnect with my long lost friend Karen Wagner. She moved from Dusseldorf to Hamburg and we lost touch.)
So, like yourself anyway. Don't worry if you are "hairy". People with brains and depth to their personalities will accept you for more than "face value".

Men who have hairy backs are made fun of here, so you are not alone. In the US there is a cultural idea that most body hair is unclean.
Here in the US dark visible hair on the face and neck of women is considered unattractive, as well as on the legs or underarms. Most women will remove this type of hair with shaving or creams.
You can also choose to ignore their comments or complain to a superior (if it's at work or school.).

Pantyhose complements the legs, hiding a large number of flaws, making them prettier and bigger alluring. i think that pantyhose observing adult men are probable a lot more beneficial tremendous than say a decade in the past. adult men who lived with the help of the 1970's, 1980's, and early 1990's were residing in pantyhose paradise, yet they did not understand it. In those years, just about any lady donning a gown or skirt wore pantyhose with them, era, the authentic. You have a tendency to take this stuff with none interest once you're surrounded through a sea of alluring pantyhose coated legs. someplace in 1990's, pantyhose paradise began to vanish. The casualization of the workplace and the fashionista anti-pantyhose campaign were the biggest individuals to this unhappy decline. especially quickly, pantyhose donning women were a rarity certainly. i imagine that the pantyhose loving adult men seem more beneficial intensely than ever earlier. The pantyhose donning woman is a uncommon and priceless gem. a guy would pass weeks between pantyhose sightings, so it really is crucial that they offer the effect of being and luxuriate in even as they could.

US culture prizes youth. Therefore since women are typically sexual objects here they do whatever will make them appear most youthful. Body hair is considered a more mature thing so women shave it off in an effort to become hairless, perfect and young looking.

Body hair is a sign of masculinity and is usually triggered by the male hormone, testosterone.
If you have excess body hair, you may have a hormone imbalance.
Is it against your culture to wax?

Don't listen to them, they are just being rude. In the US, it's common to wax, shave, etc for women. For some reason, we don't like hair. Maybe you should try it. It feels very silky.
