What is something that you believe in but cannot prove? And Why?

EXCLUDING::religion, god, etc. etc.
For example, I believe that life does exist in the universe. I cannot prove it, but just imagining the vastness of the cosmos makes me believe that it is extremely unlikely that we are alone.

Always what we don't know, asks us a question. Like the other day I was wondering how it was that people can be talked into killing themselves, like the terrorists do. I too believe that there is other life in the universe, and my reasoning is, why not? But on the other hand, who cares? We have spent billions of dollars at NASA and now they think that there was once water on Mars, and then we find out for sure, what will that prove and how will that be of benefit to us? But if there is life out there I hope they don't find us because if they are more intelligent then we are, well you know what will happen. Always has before. To the Christians. To Blacks. To Jews. To all people at one time or the other. But to answer your question, the unknown, always is a question, simply because we do not know.

I believe that Ehren Watada is the biggest douche bag in the world for betraying his country the way he did, but technically I can't prove it to others because, whether it's true or not, some idiot will always be siding with him, and they will form a bandwagon with other idiots who don't know better.
