People have tried a lot of different things to remove moth ball odors, including frequent re-washing, baking soda, white vinegar, as well as many days of fresh air... none of these apparently work too well. But then if it was easy, nobody would ever really ask about it, would they? They'd just clean it on their own!
The only answer that I have seen repeatedly cited with success is fresh air AND sunshine. Nobody can say exactly why it works, but it seems to. So leave your clothes outside in the sun, and take them in at night. By all accounts, the odor should be gone in a few days, depending on how intense it is!

Try to see if this works for you. Set the dryer on delicate for about ten minutes with the item and a dryer sheet or a damp wash cloth spritzed with you favorite body spray, perfume or cologne.

vinegar helps and the vinegar smell will go away in a few days

try spraying some Febreeze odor fighting spray onto it.

try using garlic, or wintergreen scent. air freshener works too!
