Personally I think we have now exhausted the subject of the 2006 World Cup.
In a nutshell: Italy and France met in the final,Materazzi got verbal diarrhoea,Zidane did a fine impression of an enraged bull,Trezeguet missed a penalty,Italy scored all five,Italy won,France lost.END OF STORY!
This category should now be renamed the Euro 2008 category.
I know that I now only come to this section for fun and to see what my favourite participants are asking or answering.
Possibly many people in this forum are not extensive travellers so it's a great way to interact with people from many different countries and to build bridges between different cultures and religions.
That's my opinion anyway.
If we can't share a joke or laughter with people then it's a very sad world that we live in.
To the people who report this, FOR GOODNESS SAKE LIVE IN PEACE!

i like both. it's nice to have a mix of each kinds of questions. one day you might feel like being fun and sarcastic and what not, another day you may feel like being a bit more logical and serious. so, the mix of both sort of conforms to different peoples' wants and so we all have our own kind of questions that we feel like answering.

Hi
Nice to see you back !! You make a good point in this post. I like a bit of both. People's opinions are interesting and often give you a different perspective on issues. In honesty the only Q's I don't really like to answer are about other participants. I hate to think of people's feelings being hurt and they are only judgements of what we see here and probably not their true character. though I must admit there are a couple whose bitterness and unnecessary insulting I have given up hope on lol. Hope all is well for you. Take care.

The only reason I come here regularly is for seeing what's going on in the FIFA World Cup category. The questions here that are meant to be serious are constantly repeated (e.g. I just saw two questions asking who deserved to win, and I've seen them here many more times), there's nothing really happening in terms of actual questions relating to the World Cup.

i tend to read mostly the serious ones and if i have any info to share then i post an answer. but the funny Q's are most welcome, esp. when the 2 you-know-who trade their usual you-know-what. it's the perfect day-ender ....: )))
